la calorie Privacy Policy
How the la calorie iPhone app handles your data.
Last updated: September 29, 2026
This policy explains how the la calorie app for iPhone (“la calorie”, “the app”) handles your information.
The short version
la calorie does not collect, share or sell any personal data. It has no account, ads, tracking or analytics, and it does not send anything over the internet.
What the app stores
la calorie saves two things, only on your iPhone:
- your daily calorie budget (a number, such as 1 800);
- today’s calorie entries: each is a number of calories and the time you added it.
Entries are deleted automatically when the day ends, at local midnight. Your budget is kept until you change it or delete the app. None of this is ever sent to me or to anyone else. If you have iPhone backups turned on, it may be included in your own iCloud or computer backup, which Apple handles under its own privacy policy.
What the app does not do
- It does not require an account or sign-in.
- It does not use your camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos or Apple Health data.
- It does not include advertising, analytics or third-party tracking tools.
- It does not share data with third parties.
Deleting your data
To remove an entry, swipe left on it in today and tap remove. To remove everything, delete the la calorie app from your iPhone.
Children
la calorie does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes to this policy
