Resona Privacy Policy

How the Resona iPhone app handles your data.

Last updated: September 28, 2026

This policy explains how the Resona app for iPhone (“Resona”, “the app”) handles your information.

The short version

Resona does not collect, share or sell any personal data. It has no account, ads, tracking or analytics, and it does not send anything over the internet.

What the app stores

Resona saves one piece of information: the tinnitus frequency you match in the app (a number in hertz, such as 1,261 Hz). It uses this to build your sound sessions.

This value is stored only on your iPhone, in the app’s local settings. It is never sent to me or to anyone else. If you have iPhone backups turned on, it may be included in your own iCloud or computer backup, which Apple handles under its own privacy policy.

What the app does not do

  • It does not require an account or sign-in.
  • It does not use your microphone, location, contacts, photos or health data.
  • It does not include advertising, analytics or third-party tracking tools.
  • It does not share data with third parties.

Deleting your data

To remove your matched frequency, delete the Resona app from your iPhone. This removes everything the app has stored. You can also replace it at any time by tapping Re-Match Tinnitus Frequency.

Children

Resona does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to this policy
